The DOFITA was established in 2000 as a daughter company of DOF FREDERIKSHAVN with Rima and Bo Lauridsen as the management ,the purpose was offering surface protection on high level in the Baltic states to local yards and to our long time clients from Scandinavia and The Faroe Island.
In 2010 , a management buy out toke place and Rima and Bo Lauridsen continue as owners.
Very soon after establishment of DOFITA , the management realized that a division for ship repair was nessecary , simply because the clients from Scandinavia requested only one contractor during the ship repair.
In 2006 a division for fabricating GRP composite components and painting of windmill blades was started.
After joining EU in 2004 , DOFITA start working abroad on a lot of different and complex projects with constructions and vessels.
Project had been carried out in Chile , Italy , Germany , France , The Netherlands , Belgium , Poland , UK , Denmark , Estonia , Norway , Malta , Djibouti, Sweden.
We can in very short time reach all Europe with our equipment and staff.
